Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Oussama (“we”, “us”, “our”), operator of Invoice Studio Oussama(the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
The Service
Invoice Studio Oussama provides browser-based tools to create, preview, and download PDF invoices in the Studio. Invoice data is processed locally in your browser; we do not upload your invoice contents to our servers for rendering. The Service is intended for legitimate business billing you are authorised to issue.
We may update, improve, or modify the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance.
Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One person or legal entity per account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Credits and Payments
The Service is sold as one-time credit packs. Each credit corresponds to one successfully downloaded invoice PDF. Credits do not expire unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). By making a purchase you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies that may apply in your jurisdiction. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend any order if we suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
Your Content
You retain all ownership rights in the company details, client information, line items, logos, and other materials you enter in the Studio (“Your Content”). Your Content stays on your device during drafting and PDF generation. We do not receive, host, or store the contents of invoices you create unless you separately send them to us (for example, in a support request).
When you use the Studio, we may record account-level usage metadata — such as the number of credits consumed — to operate billing and prevent abuse. We do not receive invoice field values, client names, or PDF contents through the credit-consumption API.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to Your Content, and that using Your Content through the Service will not violate any law or any third party's rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights).
Generated Invoices
PDF invoices are produced on your device from Your Content (“Output”). You own the Output and may use it for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and your rights in the underlying content.
Totals, tax lines, currency formatting, and layout depend on the details you enter and the settings you choose. We do not guarantee that an invoice meets every legal or accounting requirement in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for reviewing the Output before sending it to a client and for ensuring that such use complies with all applicable laws, including tax, consumer protection, and intellectual property laws.
Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Process content that infringes any third party's rights, contains malware, depicts minors in a sexualised manner, or otherwise violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except where permitted by applicable law.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.
- Use automated means to access the Service except through documented APIs.
- Circumvent credit accounting, rate limits, authentication, or other technical restrictions.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Service or other users. In the event of termination for cause, unused credits may be forfeited; in good-faith terminations, we will refund the value of any unused credits to your original payment method.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC INVOICE FORMAT, TAX CALCULATION, OR PAYMENT OUTCOME.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oussama, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in United States for any dispute that is not subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
